Operation Heartbreak Hotel Update: Two Memphis Motels Declared Public Nuisances

The D.A.'s Office and the Memphis Police Department temporarily closed The Lamplighter Motor Inn and The Bellevue Inn in February. Now the owners must forfeit all personal property inside the motels to the state, to be sold at auction or destroyed.
