Fired Employee Indicted in Collierville Murder

Dec. 4, 2018 – A Moscow, Tenn., man was indicted Tuesday on first-degree murder charges in the September shooting death of a co-worker at a Collierville company where the defendant had just been terminated, said Shelby County Dist. Atty. Gen. Amy Weirich.
Termaine York, 21, also was indicted on a misdemeanor charge of criminal impersonation for providing false identity to officers who arrested him shortly after the shooting. He is in the Shelby County Jail without bond.
Investigators said Bruce Henderson, 58, of Cordova was shot multiple times as he was getting out his car around 8 p.m. on Sept. 21, 2018, at the IPS Corp. on Industrial Park Lane where he worked.
York had worked there with Henderson until he was fired less than 24 hours before the shooting. Investigators said they collected evidence, including surveillance video, which linked York to the shooting.
The case is being handled by Jennifer Nichols, chief homicide advisor and special projects assistant district attorney.
