Shelby County DA’s Office Mourns the Loss of Prosecutor and Former Judge Donna Fields

Shelby County, TN – The Shelby County DA’s Office is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Donna Fields, a dedicated prosecutor and former judge, who was tragically killed in a car accident on Monday.

Donna Fields had a distinguished legal career, serving as a judge before joining the District Attorney’s Office in retirement. While fully retired, Donna volunteered to return to work part-time, driven by her unwavering passion for animal welfare. She led the charge on animal cruelty cases, a cause that was dear to her heart.
