Shelby County District Attorney's Office Secures Prestigious $300,000 Grant
Shelby County, TN - The Shelby County District Attorney's Office has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the congressional Byrne Discretionary Grant Program, making the office the sole recipient in Tennessee and one of only 44 agencies nationwide to receive the prestigious grant.
This federal funding, part of Congressman Steve Cohen's (TN-9) Appropriations measure, is directed towards prioritizing community projects within Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District.
District Attorney Mulroy expressed gratitude for the substantial grant, highlighting its potential to profoundly impact victim advocacy and operational efficiency within the office.
